Organisation
In 2007 the NGO ALKA Wildlife o.p.s. was established by the group of six experts on ecology and conservation of wildlife. General mission of the organisation is to achieve effective and scientifically based protection and management of wildlife by gaining, disseminating and applying information on their biology and ecology.
The organisation provides public benefit services as follows:
- carrying out research projects in the areas of biology and ecology
- carrying out research projects to provide protection of wildlife and biodiversity
- providing specialised analyses, studies, opinions and inventory research pertaining to wildlife
- providing information support for decision making in the areas of wildlife protection and biodiversity protection
- supervision of animal ecology projects of secondary and university students
- facilitating public education and working with the public in the areas of animal ecology, wildlife protection and biodiversity protection
